next.js conf - my experience
i just got back from next.js conf, where I did my first ever official conference talk, and I had a blast.

I would have expected an experience like Next.js to effect a product so much that what happened today.
But first, some back context….
I got selected as a speaker for next.js conf hosted by Vercel back a couple months ago. I thought this was a great opportunity to show off how I use AI effectively and manage my agents, they seemed to agree 😉.
I prepared a great presentation and presented my talk (which was my first ever real conference talk BTW) and it went amazing, was able to talk about inbound.new, and how I use AI effectively to ship GOOD code while still maintaining velocity 🚀.
The presentation I did wasn’t really focused on inbound, it more so used inbound as a way for examples. So to my surprise when I walked off stage I got a notification:

“A usage anomaly???”
Oh no! That must be bad, I think I might have shipped some bad code! So I run and grab my laptop, but before I check the codebase, I check my analytics, which is provded by datafa.st and I saw this 👀

I had a MASSIVE jump in users, so much so that the newly released Vercel Observability agent sent the above message of the usage anomaly 😂.
Now after my talk I thought I was good and it was over, but it was not, I got 40% more conversions in the application based on that traffic than average.
I also had a TON of people come up to talk to me about inbound and how it could work for them ✅.
Overall, it was a great experience and an amazing ROI speaking at Next.js Conf.
Massive thanks to the entire Vercel team, (especially Kap Sev) who helped me through this entire process ✌️
